19th Century French Lantern

Beautiful wrought iron lamp with skillfully hand painted images of two flowers, a swallow and an egret (or crane), one painted on each of the four sides. The side with the egret is hinged and opens like a door by turning a small knob. This lamp was originally made for gas but has been wired for electricity. The gas tubing is still intact. This lamp gives off a wonderfully warm light through the yellow, blue, red and clear panels. It is absolutely complete with no damage! The maximum width of 17″ is measured across the diagonal (14″ each side). More images are available upon request.
